Commissioners balance budget for 2010 with sharp cuts
On December 10, the Board of Clark County Commissioners approved a revised budget for 2010, which included cutting $12.5 million from the general fund. By law, the Board is required to readopt the two-year budget by the first full week of December. More on the revised budget >

Clark County's Budget Office develops the annual budget with citizen input. The office is the organizational planning and budgeting arm of the Board of Clark County Commissioners. It is also responsible for developing long-range program planning, program operational policy, program performance measures, and revenue and expenditure forecasting.
