Specific Case History

From these pages you can find the permit history of any building or development project processed by Clark County beginning in 1999. You must know the permit number. After entering the permit number, you will see the address and all actions by the community development department on that permit.

Cases are divided into several basic groups:

  • Building - these permits are for construction or renovation of residential, commercial and accessory buildings.  Plumbing and mechanical permits, mobile homes and signs are included.
  • Environmental - these permits include habitat and wetland permits, as well as archaeology and critical aquifers.
  • Final Plan review and Engineering - these permits are required to complete a site plan or plat project through final approval and engineering. They include development inspection, grading permits and road modifications.
  • Fire - fire permits are required when a new commercial or industrial or an institutional building is constructed. The county also performs fire inspections on existing occupancies.
  • Miscellaneous - these permits includes appeals, variances and other administrative items that are rarely used.
  • Preliminary Plan Review - these permits are required for land development including site plans and plats. Pre-applications and boundary line adjustments are included also.
