Noise complaints
The animal noise ordinance states it is unlawful for any custodian to allow a dog to bark continuously for a period of at least ten minutes or intermittently for at least one-half hour day or night. Livestock are exempt.
Please be prepared to provide evidence of this when submitting an animal noise complaint. Accepted evidence of animal noise is a Noise Petition (see attachment below) or a video that includes audio of the violation.
Noise complaints must include the exact address of the offending animal.
