E-mail and Web submittals: Staff can only respond to e-mail messages and this online animal complaint form Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  

Hours

Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During this time we have two to four officers on duty.

Weekends: Due to limited staff on weekends, officers will only respond to emergencies, such as a life threatening situation to a person or animal, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Officers can not respond to e-mails on weekends.

Holidays: Our offices are closed on all major holidays.

Noise complaints

The animal noise ordinance states it is unlawful for any custodian to allow a dog to bark continuously for a period of at least ten minutes or intermittently for at least one-half hour day or night. Livestock are exempt.

Please be prepared to provide evidence of this when submitting an animal noise complaint. Accepted evidence of animal noise is a Noise Petition (see attachment below) or a video that includes audio of the violation.

Noise complaints must include the exact address of the offending animal.
