Development Services guides development in the unincorporated areas of Clark County by:
- Reviewing proposed development plans to make sure that the county land use code and community standards are met.
- Working with applicants to identify a development's potential impacts to a neighborhood, the environment, or our transportation system and determining creative strategies to lessen any negative effects.
- Facilitating a public review process for developments causing significant impacts to the community. County residents are invited to comment on this type of proposed development in a public hearing before a hearings examiner.
