Title 2.43 and 2.42 of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW), authorizes the appointment of language interpreters to assist non-English speaking persons and hearing impaired individuals in legal proceedings. The statute is intended to protect the constitutional rights of non-English speaking persons and people with hearing impairment. Link to Clark County courts' Assistant Plan.
Individuals requiring interpreter services may contact the interpreter coordinator at the Clark County District Court Administrative Offices or by telephone at (360) 397-6105 or fill out one of the following:

The interpreter program is handled by the District Court Interpreter Coordinator for all the courts in Clark County.
