How do I change my voter registration address?
Address changes must be made at least 29 days before the next election. You may do any one of the following:
If you moved to a new address within the same county:
- If you have a Washington State driver's license or ID card, you can update your address on MyVote; or
- Send an e-mail to elections@clark.wa.gov giving your name, birth date, old address, and new address; or
- Telephone the Elections Department at (360) 397-2345; or
- Complete and mail a mail-in voter registration form, which contains instructions on how to change your address; or
- Send a signed letter to the Elections Department giving your name, birth date, old address, new address and your signature; mail the letter to our office at:

If you have moved to another county in Washington:
- You can register to vote Online; or
- Print out a voter registration form and mail to your county; or
- Send an e-mail to elections@clark.wa.gov giving your name, birth date, old address, and new address; or

If you have moved outside Washington, or you no longer wish to be a registered voter:
- Complete a Request for Cancellation form (PDF - 27KB) and mail to our office at:

If you wish to report a deceased voter:
- Complete the Request for Cancellation form (PDF - 27KB).
The Request for Cancellation Form (PDF - 27KB) may be filled out on your computer. When you have completed typing in all pertinent information, you will need to print the form, sign it and mail it to the return address on the form.
