Canvassing board - primary election recount of precinct committee officer, precinct no. 965

On Wednesday, August 22, 2012, the Clark County Canvassing Board met and certified the results of the August 7, 2012 Primary election. The official results of the Primary election show that for the office of Republican Precinct Committee Officer for Precinct 965, two candidates each received 75 votes. This resulted in a tie vote and because the percentage separating the two candidates is zero, a mandatory manual recount for this contest is required.

By Canvassing Board action, the time and date of the recount has been set as Monday, August 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM. It will be conducted at the Clark County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver, Conference Room 226. The recount of ballots in this race will continue until complete.
