Ballots for the November 6 General and Special election are now available at the Clark County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver. Election Department office hours are from 8 AM until 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Mail ballots are being mailed on Monday, October 15 to registered voters. If a voter does not receive their mail ballot by Friday, October 26, they should contact the Elections Office by calling (360) 397-2345 and request a replacement ballot. Replacement ballots can be requested in person, by email, by mail or by telephone. Our email address is elections@clark.wa.gov and our mailing address is Elections Department, P.O. On Wednesday, October 17, at 10 AM, the Clark County Elections Department will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots for the November 6 General and Special election. Members of the news media, candidates, district representatives and the public are invited to attend this test, which is a requirement of Washington State law. The test will be held at the Clark County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver.
On Tuesday, November 6, election day, at 5 PM, the process of entering the scanned ballot information into the ballot tabulation system will begin. No reports of election results will be printed until after 8 PM, election day. Election results will be released to the public and news media in Gaiser Hall at Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver, at or before 8:30 PM. Election results will also be available on the County Auditor’s internet web site at http://clarkvotes.org. A sample ballot for this election is currently available at this web site address.
