Volunteer Opportunties

Volunteers are vital to help protect and enhance our natural environment.  Environmental Services has many volunteer opportunities through a variety of projects and programs.

Why volunteer?

By volunteering in Environmental Services, you can help to:

  • Preserve and conserve natural resources.

  • Prevent pollution in the environment.

  • Spend time in nature.

  • Enhance work and life experiences.

  • Meet new people, build lasting relationships and have fun.

Can I volunteer?

Whether you are a student, adult, family or community group, we will work with you to find a volunteer opportunity that best suits your interests and skills. Teenagers 14 to 17 must have parental permission to volunteer. Youth younger than 14 may be able to volunteer with family members.

If you are interested in volunteering, contact
Environmental Services at 360-397-2121 ext. 4484.
