CLARIFICATION

Clark County would like to clarify for all prospective bidders the following: The BNSF common standard drawings are to be considered as a "reference only".  We want to be clear that we are asking for only the items as described under Section A - 8; part 1 General and part 2 products on page 8 of the specifications.  We are not requiring any stock or closure rails or Sampson switch points as the BNSF common standard calls out for only the turnout package as listed in parts 1 and 2.

Contractors must telephone Fred Abraham (360) 397-2323 before 4:00 PM July 13th, 2010 for the first bid walk, or before 4:00 PM July 16th, 2010 for the second bid walk to be informed of the location of the pre-bid meetings, and be included in the site visitations.  Space for the pre-bid high rail tour is limited and will be on a first come first served basis, so we ask you to send only one representative from your company.  In the event you are unable to be on the first tour please consider the alternate date.
