Historic Preservation Commission

Next public meeting

The next meeting is scheduled for April 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the O.O. Howard House, 750 Anderson St., Vancouver, WA.

The commission typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month.

The Clark County Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) raises community awareness of the county’s historic and cultural resources and serves as the county’s primary resource on historic preservation. The HPC initiates and maintains the Clark County Historic Register and reviews proposed design changes to registered properties. View the Historic Preservation Program's Rules and Procedures (PDF).

The HPC consists of a minimum of 5 members appointed by the Board of Clark County Commissioners. Members must have demonstrated special interest, experience or knowledge in history, historic preservation, architecture or related disciplines.
