A family owned farm since 1910 the farm utilizes 60 of its 677 acres for the historical farm. The 2.5 story home has an original river rock foundation and the first story is constructed of partially planed logs felled from the home site. The upper stories are framed and sheathed in horizontal shiplap both inside and out. The interior remains virtually unaltered and its plank floors and period furniture contribute to the history of the building.

Erwin Charles Pomeroy and his family moved into the Lucia Valley and established a working farm at a time when the only major activity was logging and sawmill operations.
