Queen Anne in style, the two story wood frame building is composed of two gabled units forming an “L” floor plan. An open porch covers the angle between the two wings. A distinctive feature of the house is a turret with three windows and covered by a conical roof. 

John Roffler an accomplished carpenter and builder built this home and many other distinctive homes in the Camas area, including the Pittock-Leadbetter House. Roffler’s distinctive construction details include columns, porticos, dormers, balustrades and handturned blocks of “Roffler Stone”.
