On September 25, 2007, the Board of Clark County Commissioners (BOCC) formally adopted changes to the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan following an in-depth examination that began in 2005, resulting in adopted Ordinance 2007-09-13 (PDF 758K). Changes to the urban growth boundaries and zoning within the new boundaries took effect on January 1, 2008, with the other Comprehensive Plan changes effective September 26, 2007.
On December 15, 2008, the BOCC reviewed annual review and docket changes that required updates to the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan, resulting in adopted Ordinance 2008-12-15.
The BOCC held a public hearing on December 15, 2009, as part of the appeal of the Comprehensive Plan and to address the GMA compliance issues. As a result of the hearing, the Board adopted Ordinance 2009-12-15. More detailed information and maps can be found on the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan Review page.
On December 21, 2009, the Board of Clark County Commissioners reviewed annual review and docket changes that required updates to the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan, resulting in adopted Ordinance 2009-12-21.
