Appointed by the Board of Clark County Commissioners, the Planning Commission serves as an advisory board on matters related to physical development of land within the county. The role of the Planning Commission is primarily legislative because they review policy proposals with general applicability and only occasionally those which could be considered quasi-judicial, or with specific applicability; i.e. annual review applications.

Hearings
Formal public hearing are typically held on the third Thursday of each month and alternate Thursdays as needed. Hearings are held at the Public Service Center,
1300 Franklin St., sixth-floor,
Vancouver. Hearings can also be viewed on CVTV Channel 23.
Please submit all correspondence relating to issues before the commission two days prior to a public hearing for due consideration. Requests for information and correspondence to the commission, should be addressed to:
