Information for people using Healthy Options Medicaid plans    Current CUP clients under Healthy Options will become CHPW members as of July 1, 2012. These clients will be able to stay with the same CUP providers that they had in the past. The only difference is that CHPW will have the contract with the state; but CUP will be sub-delegated so that they can continue to provide health care for their CUP members.  Clark County will also continue to have Molina as a managed care plan, along with Coordinated Care Corporation (CCC) and United Health Care Community Plan.

Washington State has several low or no-cost health insurance programs for low-income children and families. These programs help pay for health screenings and preventive care so that you can benefit from the early detection and treatment of medical problems.

Adults 65 plus
Adults 65 years or older may qualify for health insurance through Medicare or the Basic Health Plan.

Adults and families
Adults and families may qualify for health insurance through the Basic Health Plan, Medicaid, Medicaid - Family Planning Only "Take Charge", or one of Washington’s other medical programs.

Children
Children may qualify for vision and dental benefits through Basic Health Plus or medical care, dental, vision and mental health or substance abuse counseling through Washington Apple Health for Kids.

Drug discount card
All Clark County residents can save money on prescription drugs with a free discount card.

Immigrants and non-citizens
Immigrants and non-citizens with emergency medical conditions may qualify for benefits through the Alien Emergency Medical Program.

Pregnant women
Pregnant women may qualify for free maternity benefits through the state's Medicaid program.
