Public Works tracks its performance on a monthly basis. This includes not only comparing actual revenues and expenditures with the department’s adopted budget, but examining how the department is doing in more than 125 different categories.

These performance measures track everything from street sweeping and snow removal to preventative maintenance on county vehicles and how engineering estimates compare with low bids on a construction contracts.
