The Clark County Veteran's Relief Fund provides emergency relief for the area's indigent veterans. These veterans have access to the fund as outlined in the Policies and Procedures. The fund is administered by the Veteran's Resource Committee (VRC). The VRC meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 2 p.m. at the 40 et 8 Chateau, 7607 NE 26th Ave, Vancouver, WA.

Assistance is available through a veteran's case management officer contracted through Columbia River Mental Health Services. The case management officer is stationed at the Veteran's Administration campus in Vancouver. To schedule an appointment, call the office (360) 397-8478, cell (360) 991-3685 or email vetfund@gmail.com.

According to the 2008 American Community Survey conducted by the US Census Bureau, there are 36,950 veterans in Clark County.  The median income of all Clark County veterans in 2008 (2008 inflation-adjusted dollars) was $40,979.
