School districts in Clark County qualify for a waiver of their Clean Water Fee in return for educating their students about stormwater and how our everyday actions can affect our surface and groundwater. School activities range from hosting classroom presentations such as Living Streams, River Rangers, Mother Nature's Garden Puppet show, and EarthSavers to water quality monitoring and participation in the annual Student Watershed Congress.
Each school district is different in their needs and the needs of their students so the fee waiver program is flexible and tailored to each school district.
