The Clean Water Program Engineering Team is responsible for the technical aspects of managing the county's stormwater runoff. The team conducts the following activities and programs:
Capital Program - Current Projects
This program selects, designs, and constructs stormwater facilities for water quality purposes.

Mapping and Inventory
This program maps and updates the county's inventory of storm drains, stormwater management facilities, and ditches. These activities provide for an effective maintenance program as well as monitoring the system performance. Accurate mapes are critical for Capital Improvement Program planning and the engineering of development-funded public improvements.
Engineering Support
Engineering support activities include answering citizen inquiries, requests for engineering data from outside agencies and firms, coordination with Development Review, engineering elements of fee appeals and the support of the county in legal cases and damage claims.
