Precipitation Data

Precipitation data collected by Clark County are organized by watershed and presented on the basis of water year timeframes. A water year begins October 1 and ends September 30 of the next year. The name of the water year is based on the January through September portion of this time period. For example, WY 2007 is from October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007.

Precipitation data are available as daily and monthly graphs or spreadsheet tables and 15-minute interval tables as well as provisional real-time data.

Finalized data have been reviewed for accuracy whereas more recent provisional real-time data have not been checked.

Daily and Monthly Precipitation Graphs: depict total daily and monthly precipitation in inches as vertical bars.

Daily/Monthly and 15-minute Precipitation Tables: provide the daily and monthly total or 15-minute interval accumulated precipitation in hundredths of inches.

Provisional real-time data and graphs: the most recent data are available as tables and graphs through this link. To access this data, the user must select a specific station(s), sensor(s), and time range. Users need to limit their 15-minute interval tabular data requests to 2 months or less due to the processing requirements.
